DOMINANT FACTORS AFFECTING THE MOTHER CHOOSING KB TUBECTOMY IN THE WORK HEALTH TELUKDALAM

Abstrak :
Background : Tubectomy a contraceptive for long term and there are no side effects which target the BKKBN Sumatra to May 2013 there have already achieved the targeted 5,671 5,283 ( 93.2 % ) compared to EFA Telukdalam health centers in 1735 as tubectomy acceptors taking just 92 people. Purpose: To determine the dominant factors affecting the mother in choosing KB tubectomy. Design Research : a quantitative cross-sectional approach. Population : All the EFA in 1935 as a family planning acceptors. Sample : A total of 40 respondents tubectomy acceptors using quatum sampling. Instruments : Data were collected using a questionnaire. Results : parity p value 0.275 0.258 resources value ρ, ρ educational value 0.093, ρ age value of 0.042, 0.016 and supports the knowledge value ρ ρ value 0.371 Conclusion: The meaning of factors that affect the mother in choosing KB tubectomy namely age and support while the dominant factor namely age where OR of 6.3. Suggestion : It is expected that the health worker or midwife in order to further improve the quality of family planning services to the EFA to be more selective in choosing acceptors, especially for mothers aged > 35 years in order to better choose tubectomy acceptor.
