Abstrak : Background. Baby represent one of the faction worst nutrition gristle. Where, baby nutrition status very influenced by conducted by mothering pattern is parent especially role of mother as especial nursemaid at child, because at a period to this child represent passive consumer very depend on parent. Purpose of this research to know relation between pattern take care of mother in giving of food with baby nutrition status in Poskesdes Bawofanayama. Research method used is descriptive of correlation. Obtained to the data to be analysed through approach of cross sectional and processed statistically Chi-Square. Sample in this research is mother having baby residing in Poskesdes Bawofanayama counted 61 persons. used by instrument is questionnaire. Result of obtained by research 63,9% respondents have pattern take care of consume of food, 95,1% respondents in giving exclusive breast milk is not exclusive and 67,2% respondents in giving of supplement food exclusive breast milk is good. Conclusion this research there is relation between pattern take care of mother in giving of food with baby nutrition status. Recommendation expected to the mother who own the baby to improve the pattern take care of good eating, giving exclusive breast milk and give supplement food exclusive breast milk the to food step and age of baby through health education program such as counselling about baby nutrition and the health of child is conducted by health officers.
