Abstrak : Background, every all of midwife must know her role especially as realization, manager, educator and researcher to support family with a plan success.Purpose this method to know how is role of midwifeas realization, manager, educator and researcher to support family with a plan success.Designof research is description with problemrapprochement use cross sectional tabulation. Sample in this research is all of active midwife at work zone of UPTD PuskesmasGunungsitoli center 2014, with technical taking sample is total sampling. Instrument that use is questions. Result of research from all of midwife are able torole kind (100%). Midwife as realization has be able to kind roleto support family with a plan success (55,8%), midwife as manager has be able to kind role to support family with a plan success (50,8%), midwife as educator has be able to kind role to support family with a plan success (54%), midwife as researcher has be able to kind role to support family with a plan success (46%).
