Abstrak : Background osteoprosis is a degenerative disease that later became a health problem in Indonesia as the affect of the increase in life expectancy and changes in lifestyle. Purpose in this study to determine whether the faktors associated with he level of knoeledge about osteoporosis in pramenopausal women Sondregeasi Village Districts Luahagundre South Nias. Design used in this study is Correlation Analytical in which researchers take measurements or observations at the same time or one time. Samples is all premenopausal women in the village sondregeasi 80 people with the sampling technique is the total sampling. Instrument in this research in to use a questionnaire. Result statistical analysis using the Chi-square test showed no association between job p=0,0012 and p=0,001 with the education level of knowledge about osteoporosis premenopausal women while Chi-square statistical analysis showed no relationship between the economic status of the p=0,092 level of knowledge of the premenopausal womenwith osteoporosis. Conclusion the relationship between work and aducation with the level of knowledge about osteoporosis where as premenopausal women do not have a relationship of economic status. Suggestion expected to premenopausal women to attend counseling in order to broaden knowledge and attitudes about osteoporosis premenopausal women.
